Advance TAFE has a range of scholarships and grants to help with your study costs:
Advance TAFE Disability Scholarships |
These scholarships are provided annually through a trust fund managed on behalf of the Gippsland-based Eastern Gippsland Arts & Recreation Access Group (EGARAG).
The scholarship funds are the ongoing legacy of EGARAG, which ceased operating in 2010. In 2012, the Advance TAFE Disability Scholarship fund will provide up to $2,500 in funding for each of the two available scholarships.
Scholarship for a Person with a Disability
This scholarship is to financially assist a person with a disability to study a qualification at Certificate III level, or above, at Advance TAFE.
Scholarship to study a Disability course
This scholarship is to financially assist any person who will be studying a disability related qualification at Diploma level, or above at Advance TAFE. It is aimed at people in the community who have a particular focus/ interest in inclusive recreation, arts and culture, which will lead to a career path within the Gippsland region.

Traineeship overview
Unwrap your new career in 2012
In an East Gippsland Food Cluster initiative a number of traineeships are available to people interested in a career in the local agrifood industry.
This initiative is supported by Advance TAFE, Gippsland East LLEN and Link Employment and Training.

Turn your educational dreams into a reality
These Advance TAFE scholarships are available to young people under 24 seeking a TAFE qualification at Certificate IV or above. They support young people in their studies and in 2012 will provide tuition, services and materials fees to a maximum value of $1750 for Certificate IV level and $2750 at Diploma level or above.

Victoriaworks for parents returning to work grant |
Scholarship/grant overview
Victoriaworks for parents returning to work is offering grants to eligible parents to help them to return to work after an absence of two years caring for children.
Grants of up to $1000 are available. The funds can be used to cover any costs associated with approved training, such as books and materials, course fees, transport and childcare. |

Children of Veterans Study Scholarship - Long Tan Bursary |
Scholarship/grant overview
Children and grandchildren of Vietnam veterans are eligible to apply for this scholarship, which is valued at $9,000 each- paid at $3,000 per year for three years.
To apply you must also be a resident of Australia, be entering any year of tertiary study and not previously received a Long Tan Bursary.

Returning to Earning grant of $1,000 is available to support parents to return to work. |
